English Section ( vocabulary )

1.Aberration-( A temporary change from what is normal or acceptable,especially one that is surprising )
                     The defeat was a temporary aberration,she quickly started winning matches again.
2.Ad lib-  ( speaking or performing in public without preparation)
                 Ajay gave an ad lib performance when he was asked to act on the stage.
3.Bluestocking-(A woman having,or pretending to have,literary tastes and learning)
                        She pretends to be a bluestocking.
4.Bombshell- (shocked)
                      The news of her death was a bombshell.
5.Bellicose- (eagerness to fight or aggressive)
                    We generally, avoid her because of her bellicose nature.

Arithmetic

The formula given below is quite useful for quick multiplication:
Multiplication of a given number 5 in the unit place in the number or square the root of number where the unit place value is 5 only. for example; 25x25.
                                                       Rule No.1. multiply unit place 5x5 ===25
                                                       Rule No.2.multiply tens place2by
                                                                       immediate its next number
                                                                       3 as 2x3=6
                                                                      write the result as 625
Examples:
              1. 35x35=1225
              2. 45x45=2025
              3. 55x55=3025
              4. 65x65=4225
              5.75x75=5625 and so on....  
                                                              

Arithmetic

In Hindu Arabic System, we use ten symbols 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8&9.called digits to represent any number. A group of figures,representing a number is called a numeral. Representations of a number in figure is called notation and expressing a number in words is called numeration.
we use place value systems to represent a number.'Unit's place;Ten's place;Hundered's place etc.
Even Numbers: A numbers divisible by 2 is called an even number, such as 2,4,6,8,10,56,536 etc.

Odd Numbers:Aa numbers not divisible by 2 is called an odd numbers, such as 1,3,5,7,9,11,119 etc.

Prime Numbers: A number,other than 1 is called a prime numbers,if it is divisible by 1 and itself only.

Composite Numbers: A number, other than 1, which is not prime number is called a composite number.

Scheme of Examination for clerical grade.

Objective Type-Multiple Choice Questions paper consist of following:
1. General Intelligence (based on reasoning)           ----------50 Questions, carry 50 marks

2.English Language ( Basic Knowledge)                 -----------50 Questions  carry 50 marks

3.Numerical Apitude( Basic Arthmetic Skill)          ------------50 Qoestions carry 50 marks

4.General Awareness                                             ------------50 questions carry 50 marks

The questions are set both in English & Hindi. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Entry-Level in government sector

Clerical post is the lowest level entry in the government sector. Every year thousands of vacancy are created
by various central and state governments as well as various banking sectors. The vacancies of clerical are filled through  all India or state level competitive exam . 
Staff Selection Commission, every year conduct all India competitive exam to fill the vacancy of clerical grade.
 Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam.

Education Qualification: minimum 10+2,
Age limit                      : minimum 18years , not more than 27year
                                     ( age relaxation for SC,ST and OBC as per government rule
